WHO WE ARE
Covenant, established in 1859, stands as the oldest church in Junction City. Its congregation comprises a diverse array of individuals, spanning various age groups and backgrounds. The church’s membership includes individuals with Episcopal upbringing as well as those hailing from diverse faith traditions and geographical locations. Each member is esteemed and contributes meaningfully to the church’s communal fabric.
As Episcopalians, our faith revolves around the belief in a benevolent, liberating, and life-affirming God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Our endeavors are devoted to expressing love for God and our fellow human beings through a combination of worship, fellowship, educational pursuits, and outreach initiatives.
The Very Reverend Steve Lipscomb serves as the spiritual leader of Covenant. Notably, within the Episcopal Church, women assume prominent roles as deacons, priests, and bishops. Furthermore, both laypersons and clergy collaborate as leaders across all echelons of the church’s hierarchy.
As Episcopalians, we experience a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We work to love God and to love our neighbor through our worship, fellowship, education, and outreach.

Come and connect with God and find more meaning and purpose in your life. We’d love to meet you!
